    On the campus of the University of Northern Iowa, this center features three performance halls, seating up to 1,680 in the Great Hall. Over 150 performances take place each year, including student productions, the wcfsymphony, and national and international touring performers and shows.

    Artist Paco Rosic spent four months painting his version of the Sistine Chapel ceiling using Krylon spray paint onto the ceiling of his restaurant. This upscale eatery offers lavish décor with an exceptional menu and worldclass wines. Before or after dinner, enjoy unique cocktails in the Catacomb, the “jazz bar" located downstairs. Rosic’s artwork is viewable throughout the restaurant and bar.

    Hawkeye Community College (HCC) has ten area locations that house over 45 credit and continuing education programs, with the main campus being on the southern edge of Waterloo. The diverse curriculum offers specialized training geared toward business and industry. With over 5,300 students enrolled, HCC is one of the state’s leaders in higher education.

    HCC presents its annual Artists Series, ‘Hawkeye Celebrates the Arts’, which features music and theatre performances. HCC also has event and meeting space available.

  • Oster Regent Theatre

    This 500-seat theatre, originally built in 1910, is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. It houses a resident theatre company that produces five plays annually. Additional shows and performances throughout the year include concerts, magic shows, and a movie series.

  • RiverLoop Amphitheatre, Arts Mall and Mark's Park

    Located on the Cedar River, the RiverLoop Amphitheatre is utilized for performances, celebrations, concerts, films, and festivals. The Amphitheatre features seating for up to 1,200. The facility includes an Arts Mall and Mark’s Park – a splash park and playground.

    Hours:

    Mark’s Park is open to the public seasonally 9am-9pm, every day of the week.
