The Waterloo Convention & Visitors Bureau offers a variety of complimentary services to help make your meeting, convention or event a grand success. Events held in Waterloo are remembered for years, thanks to your hard work and our attention to detail. Let us tailor our services to make your event the talk for years to come!

Bids, Proposals & Presentations – Let us help your local or regional chapter put their best foot forward. We’ll be by your side from the beginning.
• Provide letters of invitation/support
• Prepare hotel rate and availability information
• Provide a complete, citywide listing for banquet/meeting sites and their availability
• Arrange site visits to hotels and attractions for VIPs and planners
• Prepare bid proposals and presentations

Event Planning – Want this year to be better than ever? Allow our creative staff to put your resources to good use to make every aspect extraordinary.
• Provide a welcome address by city officials and/or bureau staff
• Prepare name badges. Send us names and a logo for customized name badges
• Provide specialized designation ribbons for name badges
• Arrange visitor information, maps and coupons to be included with pre-registration information or displayed on an information table.
• Arrange entertainment, speakers, group dining, spouse/family programs, tours, team building and other special events or off-site activities
• Aid in the identification of possible local hosts, sponsors or contributors
• Provide tips, resources and information on green meetings and events

• Help you through the Waterloo Hotel Motel Tax Grant application process

• Act as your liaison to area print, television, radio and online media contacts
